There are countless theories about young children's art, most of which are evolving due to a better understanding of how the brain works and increased attention on child development. Despite the wide variety of theories, one thing is for sure: we must respect the child's work and not discount it as meaningless. Summer Camp Update
A lot of our summer camp mornings are FULL, but take heart! We have plenty of afternoon spots available for your child to beat the heat and stay out of the rain. Check out our availability on our Summer Camp page. Updates are made weekly!
Family Open Studio
It has been a while, but we are having a Family Open Studio this Saturday 10-12. Our theme will be Earth Day and Recycled Art Fun. Six arts and crafts stations will be set up for all ages to enjoy, plus our fabulous play room will be available for the littlest artists! No pre-registration required. Cost is $15 per child, $5 per additional child.
Mother's Day Event
Who doesn't love making arts and crafts with Mom? And, who doesn't love terrariums? Our Mother's Day Event this year will be making terrariums that will be a living work of art for you to enjoy, plus some other pretty arts and crafts to make together. Recommended age is Kindergarten through 100! Pre-registration is required for this event- Register online!
Birthday Parties and Events
We are booked up for parties and events through June 23, and after that date, we will only be scheduling them on Saturdays in July and August. If you are considering an event with us, please reserve your spot soon!
