Holiday Arts and Crafts at YBS!

So many of you have asked if we are doing any special weekend holiday events in December that we decided that it would indeed be fun to set aside a Saturday for some holiday inspired art and craft making. On Saturday, December 14 we are doing two events, one for families and one for schoolagers to be dropped off.

The first is a Holiday Ornament Workshop for families from 10-12. We will have stations set up around the studio for you to come make up to 4 ornaments together to keep or give as a gift. The cost is $20 per family.

Then from 2-4, schoolagers Kindergarten and up can be dropped off to make a one-of-a-kind nutcracker inspire by the steampunk art movement along with some other holiday inspired art. The cost is $35 per child.

Program Changes

We are making a change to our morning programs for preschool age children.

The Thursday Hand In Hand/Open Art class has been canceled for the rest of this year, but starting in January, we will be replacing it with a new 4 week registered class called Art in the Park.

In this class, we will be exploring many of our local nature parks while we have fun with a story time, puppet time, games, and of course, art!

The class will be from 10:30-12 on Thursdays at a variety of Hillsborough and Pinellas county parks. This class is great for kids who love the outdoors and their caregivers who love to explore!
