Announcing Our Yellow Bird Sisterhood!

We have long wanted to offer adult classes to our community so that grown-ups could experience the magic and joy of the studio, just like our young artists do. After lots of discussion, planning, and inspiration from others who lead women's groups, we are excited to begin our new series, "Seasons Of Our Life" through our Yellow Bird Sisterhood! Our first class will be on Saturday April 30, from 6:30-9:00 PM, with hopes that this will become a monthly special event at the studio!

Inspired by the season of spring, a time of birth, rejuvenation and new beginnings, we seek to remember our younger self, The Maid, who was full of optimism, hope, and fearless. As we move through the seasons of our life, we sometimes forget The Maid, and the lessons of growth that she taught us.

In "Celebrating the Wild Maid", we will use visualization and meditation techniques to recall our own maid, when she was wild and free, full of life and joy. We will listen to her whispers telling us not to forget her, that special time of our life, and use it as a source of joy in our present. We will use our intuitive creativity, with a little guidance from the YBS staff, in creating a self portrait of The Maid with acrylic paints, which we will display in our homes a reminder of her bounty and joy.

We will also tune into the power of the New Moon which occurs on the night of our class, to make fresh plans for our lives in the month and season ahead.

Spots are limited to 8 participants so that we can maintain an intimate atmosphere and have plenty of time for sharing and connecting with each other in a space of peace and support. Registration is on our Registration Page under Weekend and Special Events. Hope to see you there!

Change to Little Art and Play Class in April

In April, we will be changing the time and format of Little Art and Play on Mondays. The class will now be offered as a drop-in, Open Studio format, which you can come to any time between the hours of 9:30-11:30 and stay as long as you like! You don't need to pre-register, but you can go to our Registration page to pay in advance, or use Venmo (@yellowbirdstudiollc) . You can also bring cash or use a card at the studio. There will be no classes after April as we prepare for the summer, so make sure you come visit us this!

Summer Camp Update

We have almost fully booked up our summer camps, but we do have a few afternoon spots in "The Art of Harry Potter's World" for children 2nd-5th grade. If you did not get into one of our summer camps, it's not too late to ask to be put on a waitlist. For those who did get into a camp, you have until May 15th to request a full refund. If canceling between May 16-26, you will receive a 50% refund if we do not have a waitlist and replacement for your spot. No refunds will be given after May 27th.

Art Explorers Class: Spots Available

Do you have a potty trained preschool aged child who will be going to school in the fall but has never tried being being on their own? Or do you want a little free time for yourself during the week and like the idea of your child having creative fun while you are busy? Then you should definitely try our Art Explorers Mom's Morning Out class! The class happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12. Come either or both days during the week, or use it as a drop-in class when you need it! Visit our Registration page to save your spot!

Parties at Yellow Bird Studio: Summer Schedule

Because we are so busy during the week with Summer Camp, we only hold parties during one weekend in June, July and August. Our party weekends are: June 11, July 16 and August 13. Choose from the 10-12 time or the 3-5 time. So if your child, or you, want to celebrate at YBS, contact us this month to reserve your spot!
