Summer Art Camp Preview!

We can't believe that we are going into our 6th year of offering our YBS Art Summer Camp! Without a doubt, kids LOVE our camps and look forward to coming every year. We always get so excited to see familiar friends returning for another year and when we meet new friends for the first time. And what is music to our ears is when on Fridays we ask "What was your favorite thing about what you made this week?" and we hear "ALL of it!".

We are bringing back some old favorites so that those who couldn't get in last year can try again this year, bringinging in some themes that we have not offered in several years, and adding in a few new ones that we know will be wonderful!

Our registration will be on Sunday, February 27th at 10 AM. We often fill some popular weeks the very same day, so if there is one you see that you really think your child will love, mark your calendar for that date and time! Preview our weeks on our Summer Camp page.

Spring Into Art!

Are your child's fall and winter extracurricular classes ending soon and you want to give your child the opportunity to exercise and strengthen their creativity muscles? We have spots open in a few of our morning and afterschool classes!

Little Art and Play- Come as a drop-in or sign up for 4 classes in South Tampa's only exclusively art class for toddlers through preschoolers and their caregivers. Open ended art stations are set up throughout the studio for creative exploration and socialization opportunities. Great for you and your young child to bond over art and enrich their language and motor skills while you leave the messy clean-up to us!

Art Explorers- Especially created for children who are potty trained ages 3-5, this 3 hour, small group drop-off enrichment class is perfect for children who are not in preschool or only go part-time and want more morning activities. It is also perfect for kids who love to make things, while still having a bit of structure in a fun and nurturing environment.

Mixed Media Mondays- Who says Mondays are their favorite day of the week? Our Mixed Media kids do! Representing animals through a range of art materials is the focus of this class for children who are in 2nd through 5th grade and love to draw, paint and make. There is a nice balance to this class of direct art instruction and opportunities for free choice art in this 2 hour class. Only 2 spots left!

School's Out Camps are Filling Up!

Our School's Out Camps are a great way for children who can't come to YBS regularly, but love to come and make art and friends! The January 18th camp is full, but there are still several spots for dates in February, March and April.
